We are working with a fast-growing technology company operating in the autonomous systems and aviation space. They are expanding their software engineering team and are now seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work on large-scale, mission-critical backend systems that directly support real-world operations.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of core backend services used to manage real-time systems and operational workflows. You’ll work closely with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions in a high-reliability environment.In terms of lead Responsabilities you will be leading a team of engineers with the aim to grow this team out over time. Responsible for them in both a technical manner ensuring deadlines are delivered while also making key decisions to further enable growth.
Requirements :
Strong professional experience building backend or systems software in production environments
8+ years of Exeprience in C++ Development
Python experience beneficial
Experience designing and owning services within distributed or real-time systems
Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Proven ability to take ownership of features or subsystems
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Coming from a Robotics, Automotive or Aerospace background is a large advantage
- Previous experience in leading teams is beneficial to have but not essential
